Toka mauri
The mauri stone is a life stone, an old icon of nature that has not been touched by humans. It is of kaitiaki energy. Whoever possesses it can use it to ignite their mauri and activate special abilities. It gives you an ability to navigate your own lifeforce. Kāhu finds this in her wing when she awakens on earth.
Fire Stick
The fire stick is from the Kaikōmako tree and was given to humans to warm their houses and cook their food by creating fire. This is gifted to Kāhuby Matāoho
Flaming Talon
The Flaming Talon is a hawk claw which was captured by the Goddess of Fire when Maui steals her flaming fingers. It is kept in an endeavour to restore the mana of the original flame that Maui took. This is given to Kāhu to help her on her quest by Matāoho
Feather
The feather is gifted to Kāhu by Matāoho to help her unlock her powers of creativity and stay one step ahead of Whiro.
Mere
This is Whiro’s weapon and is won by Kahu when she defeats Whiro and convinces him that humans are worth saving.
